We take scientific and psychological principles and turn them into bite-size happiness practices; short, simple, diverse daily activities that you can easily fit into your busy life to increase happiness and wellbeing.

How often should I use the Happy Things app?

We recommend using Happy Things every day! 
The activities we suggest are simple and diverse, so every day you will have the opportunity to do something different, that will take no longer than a few minutes to complete.
 
On top of daily activities, you can do a happiness check in once a week, to track your progress!

Can I invite my friends to use Happy Things?

Yes, and we recommend that you do! 
 
You can invite your friends to the app from the "Other Things" section, or share your daily daily activities with them from the main screen!

What is the science behind the app?

Most of the science we rely on is taken from Positive Psychology research, also known as "the science of happiness".
 
Positive psychology has been described in many ways and with many words, but the commonly accepted definition of the field is this:
 
“The scientific study of what makes life most worth living” (Peterson, 2008).
 
Positive psychology is a scientific approach to studying human thoughts, feelings, and behavior, with a focus on strengths instead of weaknesses, building the good in life instead of repairing the bad, and taking the lives of average people up to “great” instead of focusing solely on moving those who are struggling up to “normal” (Peterson, 2008).

How can I cancel my subscription?

All subscriptions are managed by the App Stores, so you can cancel your subscription from there, under your account, and then "Subscriptions".
The cancelation will become effective at the end of your current subscription cycle, and does not entitle you to any refund of fees you paid for the subscription.

In some cases you may be eligible for a refund, which needs to be requested and approved by the App Store.

Can I request to delete all my app data?

For iPhone users - 
1. Open the Happy Things app and go to "Other Things"
2. Click "Chat with us"
3. In the chat that opens, detail your request and state the email address you'd like to receive confirmation to

For Android users - 
1. Open the Happy Things app and go to "Other Things"
2. Click "Contact us"
3. In the email window that opens, detail your request
